How hard isit to turn your car to a 172 rep?

  Clio Dynamique 1.2
Basically jw how easy or hard it is. obvs you need the side panels skirts and front and rear bumpers? do they just all go straight on or do you have to sand certain parts etc? Or is there anything else i need to no?

thanks

Wings, skirts, bumpers, grill, ideally arch liners and xenon headlights aswell. You'll also need spacers/aftermarket wheels with a smaller offset and need to lower it a fair bit or it looks daft.

Depends how serious you want to be.

You need sport from wings or the bumper is too wide. You can sand/fill it, but that's a bit of a ball ache. Then there's grille/bumpers/skirts/arch liners/interior/xenons. Plus telling your insurance.

TBH, save your cash. If you want to mod it get a set of alloys and lower it a bit. Done. Otherwise you'll spend £2k on parts/paint then in a year realise it's still slow and you want something faster. Your car is now worth £500 more than a normal 1.2 because people just aren't bothered that it's a rep and the insurance increase etc. Unless you return it to standard. But even then, still a massively pointless exercise.

Been covered a lot before mate, so it's well worth a search.

A basic rep would need:

Front Bumper
Rear bumper
Front Wings
Sideskirts
Spoiler (either basic sport spoiler, cup spoiler, or trophy spoiler)

Mainly is the bumpers skirts and wings.

Arch liners aint that much of a problem. You can bodge yours (i did this on my old rep and it worked well) to fit. Spacers are a most to get that stance. The best thing i did was to a stud conversion. I did a guide on this as it worked out much cheaper and so much stronger than the normal wheel spacers and bolts.

PM me for more information if you want to. I also have some side skirt clips which you will need to put the skirts on.

Thanks, Sam!
