If you have to ask then dont bother! Folk who are the first to do these sort of transplants are generally pretty damn hot when it comes to cars!

Could be done yep. Pop down your local scrappies get a Clio then a Honda engine from CTR etc and use a stand alone ECU unless you get a someone who can remove the honda protection stuff or use the whole honda loom.

  Shed.
It can be done, and the vtecs can be sourced relativly cheaply, the full lot aswell not just the engine. Youd need to weld in new engine mounts

There is the K20A2 which is the intergra Type R engineand then the K20A is the civic Type R engine, or so im told by Honda.
The K20A2 has already been put in a mk1 clio, an it bloody shifts, the K20A2's are the engines that can be put in mini's so they can reach 62 in 3.5secs and top end of about 160mph.

vTechs in clio's have been done, seen it at pod before some time last year.

can be done, but if you have to ask its probably not something you'll be up to doing yourself.

long as you can physically close the bonnet over it you can put ANY engine you want in it.

I know Lotus are doing K20 conversions that should be fun!
Yea a company called z-cars.org.uk do this type of conversation for the lotus elise/exige.

Yepp that would be the one, they do the hayabusa engine for the elise mainly, but when i visited they said they could do the K20A (civic type r) engine togo in the elise aswell with ITB's if you so wish.
Im planting one in a mini though..

Chap I used to know had an Integra R engine in a mini (not the mincy new one!). He had to extend the front 4 inches and fit 14" wheels iirc.

Blue with a union jack roof, rapid but I never got to got out in it! Heard he used to scalp all sorts of exotics.

edit ......so you should be able to get one in the clio shell, lol
