have just fitted a v6 airbox with an induction elbow without the oil breather, so obviously need to sort the oil breather out, ive got a breather filter but i dont really know where to locate it where it can be supported etc...
Iv cut the the original breather pipe in half and attatched the breather filter on the end and cable tied to the right of the coil pack so it pokes out from the back of the engine cover
Mine is like this. Tie wrapped on to the coil pack cable. Theres no real weight on it and the cable is rly well clipped on to the plenum not far from the tie wrap so isn't putting any strain on it. Just stops it flopping around too much.
Well, i have heard it mostly chucks out some oil (when thrashing i always get a slight smell of oil) , but it actually also sometimes sucks in ! Therefore " breather" .
So a filter is a good idea mate (costs a fiver , less)
