I have a set of yoko Sdrives, with 3mm or so left of tread,

im probs not going to be in a possition to buy much more than T1Rs or paradas atm.

if i put them on the rear, how many miles should they last?? before theyre on the limit??

stripped out car, and i never do any handbrakes!

I'd probs guess at 3k, depending how you drive it, I've had some pe2s that are low and have been all summer on the back

My mrs' 182 has some michelins on the rear which have lasted 30k and are still going strong, well amazed tbh mind you she doesn't drive it hard EVER (I do when i get it however lol).

Pilots on the back usually start to crack before they wear out.

+1. I was thankful for a torn sidewall recently as an excuse to change the pe2s on the rear of mine, 20k over 2 years and more than 5mm left!!

all depends on the driving.

Michelins are really poor imo, im always failing them on mot for cracking splitting etc and they still have 4mm+ tread

Still got the original Michelin PE2's on the back of my 182 and they are still good after 50k / 6 and a half years.

Why don't you put them on the front when you get new tyres, saves driving round with old tyres on your car.

i have toyo PX4's on the rear. had them for 30k and they still have plenty in them! well over half of what they are new! i got a full set of them in april 2008 for an mot and since then, i have had to put 2 T1R's up front and just put a set of Yoko S Drives on last week, just for the record the yoko's are really nice tyres for £60 a corner fitted.

Its all down to how you drive and what they are inflated to etc. my rears are 29psi and checked weekly.

my 182 is 5 year old this month it still has the original michelins on the rear loads of tread left. me and the wife are very smooth drivers lol.
