how louds a ktec 172 sports system with decat

just got pulled by police for having a too loud car, currently has chavtastic scorpion cat back system fitted with a decat its pretty loud with your foot buried but not at all with just normal driving, anyway i NEED to replace it with standard which is not happenin so just need a more subtle one tbh suggestions?

I have a supersports system with Decat and have not be pulled over once to do with noise!!! Just don't floor it infront of pc plods

I think as well any system that's not at the same db reading as factory standard is illegal it's just hard to prove what that level is.

I didn't think they could could tell you to change it without proving it's louder than is legal....

yeah apparantly any exhaust which increases the dB over standard is deemed illegal! its just i wanted something slighlty quieter incase they see me again lol its a small town i stay in, and the reccessed ktec supersport looks very nice

plus i got pulled cos i was accelerating not flooring it though up a very steep hill thats boxed in with buildings either side was pretty loud tbh

i have a reccessed supersport with de cat and its loud and boomy but sounds good

i reckon it would be similar to what i have currently got like when its at 6k in third and fourth gear its bloody loud! maybe i should get just the sports version and keep decat?

ive got a K-Tec stealth cat back... its very quiet. Pretty sure its still got the cat on though, havent had it long and didnt look at that.
