How many brake hoses?

OK I've got four braided hoses fitted to my 172 but that still leaves the outer rears as ordinary flexis - am I two short?

Well I think that's good news, but why leave the outers as ordinary flexis? Doesn't that kind of defeat the point of replacing the other four?

They're super stiff or something, so braided aren't necesary.

All the ones apart from the ones connecting from the actual caliper to the pipe in the wheel arch are solid metal anyway?

iirc the one you are talking about are high pressure hoses. so no need to change.
