How Much?? - 05 182 Black Gold, Recaro's

My mate is looking to trade his 182 in for a Megane 225.

He has been offered £9,500 for it with £700 of the Megane making it £13,299.

The 182 is an June 05, Black gold, both cup packs, Front Recaro's with 9k on the clock.

I think the Megane is a bit expensive, but do you think that's a good trade in price???

the dealer will put the 182 on the forecourt for between £11.5k and £12k if my local garage is anything to go by, whether they'd sell it at that is another issue
£9.5k isnt pad tbh, I've seen same car go for approx same price privately so it's not bad for a p/x
Personally I'd push for another £500-£700 off to close the deal, that's the first years insurance covered for a bit of haggling

I work in the trade and bought my july 05 182 with both packs in black gold with 14K on the clock for £8500!!! bargin, took me 6 mths of waiting. £9500 sounds a good price. Renault dealers have approx 9% to play with in new cars (a mate told me) so worth holding out for it. Best thing to do would be to ring around other dealers.

Dan i just sold my identical spec 05 plate 182 with Recaros and cup packs, but with 28K on the clock for 9.5K. So i think your probably looking at around 10K, but might be lucky to get it for less.

Cheers Guys, I just spoke to my mate and they are now offering him £10.5k, so that's pretty good.

He is buying from trade but non Renault dealer a 05 Black/Gold Megane 225.

He's getting a good trade in as the Megane isn't that cheap at £13,999. It's got Zenons, Pamoramic roof (Looks ok on a black car), Full Leather can't rem about Climate. and 8k on the clock.

It just gives him more room with a kid due in a couple of weeks.

10.5 is right i think - id want 10 for mine with 8000 miles with blueflame exhaust (mint condition) without recaros and i know i would get it being another car off them!
