will they bolt straight onto a 172 then? Or will some work be required to match it or something?

What gains can you expect from the manifold, if you were to put it with a de-cat and full magnex system?

I am trying to get a sports cat, with the manifold. Got a friend of a friend who knows the owners of the breakers, so may get it cheaper.

It's a big job, if you know a mechanic who will do it for you cheap then fair enough but if you're taking it to some local garage who charge £20 an hour then your gonna be paying out some cash.

Subframe needs to come off and will not match up to your cat/de-cat/exhaust, you would need linking pipe.:rasp:

yep its a big job, but £150 sounds very good. You should see gains of upto 10bhp if done correctly.

You may see gains but I wouldnt say it will be that noticable unless you do other mod's to the vehicle to get the airflow in -> out quicker. I would get it for that price but would have to have someone I know to fit it so I'm not paying through the nose.

I have smt6 so will get that remapped along with inlet work when i go back to GDI.

Do i need to get a gasket or whatever they're called, or any other parts for the fitting as I have a mate that can do the job for me.

new from renault £350 i think, and i believe its a 5-6hr ish job to swap them, so not cost effective to do on its own, best done with other mods.
