how much does a clutch cable cost and to fit??

i had a new clutch put on last october.
for some stupid reason  the car over revs.
it takes ages for the car to move.
the clutch pedal feels stiff,

the gear changes are fine, nothin slips. it works well
but the pedal feels stiff. and when i press the accelerator pedal takes few more seconds to get to 30mph from take off.

i spoke to my garage that fixed the clutch.
they said they only fitted new clutch, and did not replace the clutch cable.

they said it might be just the clutch cable thats casuing the problem. u reckon they are right?? they said it may be a matter of just replacing that.

im not technical when it comes to this, but if it is the clutch, am i right to say to the garage, it covers 1 year warrenty. and they should replace it free of charge. but hopefully its not the clutch, cos i havent ragged my car, i barely use it during the week, and i have to many bumps in my area to ragg the fcuk out of it.

watcha views ppl, u reckon it is the clutch cable then.??
remember, it changes gears fine and does not slip gears or anythink like that,

thanx

Yeh when mine has needed doing the clutch pedal goes really stiff! Replace the cable and the gromet that goes into the bulk head, should be around 24quid for parts and max 1/2hrs labour unless you do it yourself ;)

Its not that hard! If you have never done it and arent mechanical minded leave maybe 2hrs tops!

Also isant everything mechanical covered under warrenty?! :S
