how much for cambelt change etc?

My 172 Cup is gonna be 5 years old at the beginning of March and has covered about 55k. Just wondering how much is it gonna cost roughly to get the cambelt, Aux belt and full service from Renault. I know it's gonna be alot so thats why i'm saving now lol. Unfortunately this means my Yozza exhaust is on hold now . Just looking through the service history, it's had 2 Renault service's and one from a non dealer garage. Can't see any where to say it's had any of the belts changed at all.

I payed £404 for cambelt, aux belt and new waterpump.

Get it done NOW - last week my engine went bang because of Cam belt tensioner pulley failure - was just 5 yrs old and 43k miles!

Crap time of year to save for it though, with it being nearly Christmas. I hope to save £600, I hope thats enough!

So what belts do i need to replace to be safe, the cambelt, timing belt and aux belt?

timing belt and cambelt same thing, i'd get the aux belt and cambelt done, i did the water pump cos it's cheapish (£40) cos if the old one breaks have to do the cambelt again.

Yeh Cambelt and Pulleys, Aux belt and water pump - Most of the specialists (GDi, Yozza, Ktec, RSTuning etc) charge £450 - £500

£344 with aux belt from us. Were only an hour if that from milton keynes.

£165 for the service.
