How much have you spent on your clio?

  Mk1 Ph3
Had mine for a month, haven't had chance to do much to it as of yet but...I've spent nothing

Car was a birthday present, so were brand new tires, new rims, valver dash and valver clocks :D

Last year I spent a fair bit....

The car £5500
Supercharger £4000
Milltek system £406
Splitter £117
Apex springs ( complete waste of money ) £125
PAS pump £200
Insurance £500
Then I got a break and managed to get both belts and oil pump along with a few other bits for free :)

About 11k all together and don't regret it one bit :)

Lol the apex springs where a waste of money? Id say that was the least of your worries! :D

Had the car about 8~9 months, £6200 on the car, £200 on the Eibachs and fitting, £600 on the wheels, £230 on full wheel re-furb, £400 ish on the Yozza, £400 on the stereo set up, and afew bits and bobs here and there...

Better than pissing it down the trough in a pub like I used to do...

  Ph1 172.
Had the car since Aug 2009. My Ph1 has cost me about £4100. That's servicing, MOTs, consumables and insurance. If I exclude insurance and any modifications it's been £2300 on servicing, MOTs and consumables.

  Monaco 172 + mk1 RSi
CS membership £12
Tracking £20
2 PE2's £130
RECARO's £220
Subframes £110
Xenons £40
Ph2 rear lights £26
Cup spoiler £50
Oil + filter £50
Samco hose £20
Air ducting £15
Silvervisions £5
Brembo HC + pads £75
Eibach sportlines £100
Wipers £18
Skoda splitter £12

About £900

And that's just what's on the car, there's more like ph2 wheels + powdercoating, axle stands, million pounds in cleaning products and we all spend a small fortune in bits and bobs like paint and air fresheners lol

Oh and the killer one, FUEL lol

And as always there's more on the agenda lol

  Ph1 Williams No: 112
Over 2.5k since june last year, straight after getting it home it needed over 2k in repairs and its still going wrong. woo.

Not including the car the total spent on mine just in tinkering bits not consumables is knocking on the door of £7,500... FML Depresses you when you think about it, however when i'm back out in the car i'll quickly forgot what i've just said! :)

  Clio 172 cup
too much! its definitely a money pit - more expensive to run, poorer build, less water tight than an elise s2.

£560 belts, rear brake pads and service, £180 continental tyres, £360 k-tec exhaust (original fell off), £200 brakes ds2500 pads/brembo max discs), £70 dogbone mount - fitted. then insurance and tax (another £800)

to do still - front top mounts and geometry, leaking roof (no sunroof!), leaking sill/front arch, hazard light switch, speaker not working, another service as 12k miles covered, fuel light occasionally comes on if i brake hard!, temp gauge took 7 degrees off temp readings on one of the coldest nights ever and has continued to do so since - bizarre!

Also 2 rear shocks failed, power steering started leaking onto front brakes (!), both within 25k from new and within 6 months of buying the damn thing "mint" with 20k on it!

There is probably more that I have forgotten.....

Thank goodness its a 172 cup so i have no ABS/air con/stability control/cruise control etc to go wrong!

I probably should have set fire to it a long time ago!

  clio 182 sexy blue
£200 on two front tyres
£500 on front springs and brakes, plus other little things to pass MOT
Had the 182 about 2 months. So far a lot more than the old VTR but worth every penny.
Next is Yozza exhaust with de-cat. ;)
You have to enjoy the fruits of your labour :D

  Renault Clio 1.2 16v
ABS Ring £15
Three tyres (may have kerbed one and popped it ) £153 (cheap tyres ftw? ftl)
Bearing(s) £80

  Lionel Richie
over the years?

yup

  CBR1000RR Fireblade
I have spent ££££'s over the years on cars. Not including buying my saxo VTS, I had £7000 + of receipts for parts and labour on that car.

I haven't spent that much on the Clio though, I bought the Clio in April and since then I have spent £2000 ish on parts and labour.

It's coming together nicely though now. Another £2000 and it will be mint
