With a second little one due in April the Mrs has finally given in and has decided its time to change her car but we have no idea what it is worth. Looking for some cs members in the trade to give their opinions on what we should realistically be expecting for on her car both trade and private before we go looking around the dealers.

Overall the out side is in decent condition, small dent in the boot lid that can only be seen in the right light and some pretty heavy stone chips to the rear arches.
Inside is immaculate.
Every thing works as it should, no lights on the dash and no knocks or bangs from the engine or gear box.
P.S the works stickers were on the car when she had it, this is not a "works" mini.
So what do you reckon its worth????

Id say expect £4.5-£5k private for it.
FYI the exhaust isnt standard, & the arches have been colour coded to match the Works front/rear bumpers & side skirts.

Yeah i forgot about the exhaust. The old one fell apart and she replaced it with the Sportex system last year.
She is looking to part ex it for an Astra cdti 150.
Popped into the local Vauxhall garage who offered £2.5k, conversation ended there.
Another local garage offered 3.2k which i think is a little more realistic.
Take one off and look at the back of the spokes - there should be an offset (ET**) stamped in there somewhere.
How much do you want/need for them ?
Put them up for £400 and see if someone bites your hand off....? Or £450 .. see if you get any interest - if no one makes a noise, they're not worth that much .. drop the price a bit.
If you want rid, put them up for £300 and if they sell before you've hit F5, they were too cheap

How much do you think its worth if I decried to sell?
02 plate 172 in iceberg, interior in very good condition. Body work also in good condition just age related marks, stone chips on bumper etc.
Engine is Forged high comp 12:8:1 83mm oversize pistons with Forged con rod set with ARP bolts. Performance CamShaft set EDCAM 001 and new clutch and ground and balanced flywheel all work done by Engine Dynamics on 20/06/2011 mileage was 51868 at time of full engine rebuild and is now showing 62134.
Recent work is ktec decat full BTB stealth exhaust, matched upper and lower inlets and uprated panel filter, was mapped by RS Tuning couple of month back with 189hp and about 170 Torque. Have cook sport springs and majority of all parts I need for full suspension refresh so this will be done before I sell car (if i do) Also all disc and pads recently changed. Wheels are standard with curb marks but decent tread on tyres..
Just looking at what realistic figure I can expect, I only drive the car at weekends and don't have time or money to track it and I was wanting itbs this summer but for how much I use it think I would rather be plodding along in a mk1 golf iv been looking at lol...
