Clio Mk3 138 S 2.0 Dynamique. Black, 57 Reg only two owners, mint condition in & out on only 29k with FRSH. Extras include Parrot kit, dark grey interior surrounds, rear boot spoiler. It has electric folding mirrors & keyless entry too (dunno if they're standard or not?)

However since I have owned it the servicing has been done by myself thus no paperwork apart from maybe receipt for parts. It will have tax and Mot for 1 year. With following done to it.<br />

Wheels/tyres, exhaust and decat, coilovers, HID's, 172 rear beam with discs and pads, ph2 172 front and rear seats. The odd little bits of trim etc I can punt on fairly easy, but those ^^ are the big ones i'm unsure of.

Wheels and tyres - around £300

Coilovers - if it's a 16v with 58mm bolt spacing id say £200 if 8v with 52mm bolt spacing I'm not sure as there's a much smaller market for them, prob £100-£150

HIDs - £30 for the kit

Ph2 interior sport - £100-£150 dependant on condition

Sport door cards front if u have them? - £30

Not sure on the rear beam :/

I think I paid 175 for my interior as at the time it was the best condition one on ebay. However I reckon if it's perfect you could get 200 at a push.

Liquid Yellow 182 2005. Just ticked over 100k miles. Had the belts changed last year, along with a new stainless steel exhaust system. Car is overall quite tidy but a bit of TLC wouldn't go a miss! It has the odd ding and scratch etc. Just after a ball park figure to compare against a part exchange price! He said he was looking for £1500 until I told him there are not a lot of LY 182's left and it would probably be worth more

Most garages I have spoken too have only offered me around £600-£1000 for my 172.. when it's 100% worth over 2k.. stupid garages think we all stupid

Im just curious really. 2002 172 in the common iceberg silver! Average condition for age with a few stone chips in bonnet, few scuffs in front bumper and two wheels would benefit from a refurb as they are curbed on the edge and one has a few scuffs that have been touched in fairly poorly. I have machine polished the paint and it cleans up lovely now though so looks fairly decent! Couple of small car parking dents on the passanger side that you need to be looking for to see. 3/4 front plate, skoda splitter are also fitted

Interior is in good-average condition. Seats are bobbling and steering wheel is missing one grip, but has next to no melting! Usual early 172 spec with the 6 stack CD in the car and still working. Everything is very clean though as like with the exterior, I have spent a good long time cleaning it and removing all the grim from the seats, carpets, roof, doors and all the bits people forget about! Everything works as it should, and there are no annoying rattles anymore!

Service history is patchy, it was well looked after up until the previous owner, serviced regularly by a main dealer and a couple of specialists in the Midlands, where it then stopped getting looked after and I took it on as a bit of a project/daily drive. Its currently at Birchdown getting a full service and all the belts/depahaser work done. Tyres are all good, rear two are budgets but have life left. Last MOT had no advisories. Only modifications are the Piper cat back system and a new set of 182 cup springs. I have removed all the previous badly selected modifications to get the car as back to OEM as possible. The car is currently at 108000 miles and is going up. I cover around 300 a week on the motorway to and from work.

So, what can i expect if I were selling it today!

Birchdown adds value then! Worth taking it to them! the car feels and sounds fantastic now and I'm not selling anytime soon, just enjoying it! It's loads of fun! They also made the exhaust look 100% better!

Just come across a ph1 172 with a frozen engine after being incorrectly stored for 4 years . It's X reg 101000miles tatty and could bit me on the ass with other issues. The seller wants £600 but with the possibility a lot of horrors are hiding after 4 long years on a drive way what would be fair? Ideally I want to get it on the road again .
