How much is my 172 worth

what should i expect to sell this for?

yeah. I was thinking of putting it in the trader (and on here of course) for 8250 leaving me a bit of room to come down.

Just put 6months tax on it so i can use that to bargain a bit.

I got my 51 plate Red 172 for £7950, it was on 22k miles with new tyres & brakes all round and a recent Renault service.

Red ones are rare! They should be worth more

If its in mint condition without any prangs & fsh then you should expect 8k easy, but you might have to wait for a buyer.
When I was looking round for mine, nearly every one Id see had been in some kind of a bump.
I had to look around for weeks to get a good one, but it was worth paying a bit more for one in top condition.

still no takers :-(

not dropping any more than that though, i would rather strip it and make a hill climb car

I have been offered 7k by a renault garage to buy it off me, so i reckin i should get 8k selling private.

Question is, is it worth a grand putting up with test drivers!
