How much is my clio 16v worth

Hi

I have a modded clio 16v which is a k reg and has done 89,000

The mods are:

de cat
full system magnex exhaust
K & N 57i induction kit
17" alloys
lowered
Fse boost valve

The car has an excellent paint job but very slight bubble rust on the back archs (no broken paint)

The car has got no problems at the moment and all the electrics are working fine.

It also has leather seats but I might take them out and put non leather in.

The reason I am thinking of selling the car is that I am only 17 with a provisional licence. I want to get somthing smaller like an RT, for a few reasons including insurance and safty to my own life.

What do you think I could ask.

around the £2k mark i rekon mate! but fair play to ya for realising that a valver is to much for a provisional driver! if only more people were sensible like you!

Yep worth 2 grand imo,insurance would prob pee you off a bit anyway! Would be a pretty flashy first car m8!

I think it will benefit you getting an RT and gradually mvoing up to a valver

Youll appreciate it more and also know how the clio functions etc

good choice to go for a smaller engined clio.

my mum still thinks the 1.4 ive got is nippy, and i scare her all the time in it when i have to drive her places lol.

Hope you sorted out all the problems u had with the engine

Keep it, just because its a nippy car doesnt mean you have to drive it mad everywhere.

keep the 1.8 16v, itl go just the same as the rt as long as you dont press down as much

Dont like flat red cars usually but that looks sweet mate!!!

Get a phase 2 grille/strips and keep it......I personally think i could have delt with my valver at 17 purely because when i got into my 1.2 i was pansyin about in it for the first year......When i bought the valver my mates thought why because i was known as a tart whilst drivin but safes the name of the game!!!

Im 19 now and the only knock iv had was in my 1.2 when my wheel collided with a kirb while tryna park.Lol

If you think youl be safe then theres no reason to get rid!!!

Insurance is probs the issue tho so maybe you have to get rid!!!

If you can afford the insurance then keep it mate. Just be sensible and take it easy.

If you can afford to store it or get one of your parents to use it and insure it as their own for a year or two as it sounds like its running well...

I can afford the insurace. Its 2136 a year with all the mods which is a decent price for my age with the mods.

I had a mate who was payin 2500 tftp @18 on his RS2000 (late n plate and very mint take it he valued it at 4k which was what he payed i think) and there was a mate of a mate who was payin way over 2k @ 19 on a fez turb both with flux!!!

If your willin to pay it then keep it!!!

Youl want summin like a valver 6mths down the line and it probs wont be much diffrence in price for insurance then!!!
