All windows can be claimed for on insurance if you are fully comp. Usually a £60 excess.

Ben, can you leave them out until you insure the car? Save yourself £340! That could get you something like 50 miles

welding wire and 2 screwdrivers and a friend, watch the wire as when you work it back and forwords it gets very hot

basically cheese wire, with two handles!

carefully saw/cut through it.

Draper/Sealey etc do specialist tools, but depends if u can wait to get one, or want the expense.
