I did the insurance in one whack,

so its been:

Car £750
Insurance £1800
Tax £125
Petrol £50 a week
Repairs £
420px-Infinity_symbol-1.webp

Car bought outright so, nothing.
Insurance, £94 i think
Fuel, £150ish
Other crap, £30 or so
Upgrades, as much as I have spare

Insurance £85 (that would be split monthly as I just paid in full)
Petrol £200
Tax - £20
Total - approx £305 a month

Last month it was also treated to Aux belt, power steering pump, spark plugs & air filter circa £800, makes me very sad writing that down!!

Insurance paid in full but would be £172 a month
I put £70 a week away for bits for the Clio
About £140 petrol
And just booked in for belt kit, new washer pump and 2 new PE3's not a good month haha

Or just shop around and not pounce on online quotes.

Unless he has loads of points or crashes i bet it could be had for a lot cheaper, like half the price or less.

68 insurance under dads name
petrol 150
random crap off ebay and for sale section. limitless

If your driving it and your dad doesn't then this is illegal. Fronting, Search it up.

OMGZ done it since i passed and had a claim

nothing was ever said but yes the proper way would be to say your main driver and have your dad as a secondary driver

And considering there's police on the forum ;-) (Me included...)
Mind you, Jon.G I feel like doing you for crimes against spelling... "you're driving it"... ;-)

shall send you £200 paypal if you find it cheaper than that :), and its dad as policy owner, me as named driver, fully comp, i drive it now and then ;)

Insurance - £58
Petrol - approx £50
Parking it near work!: £40
Tax: £20
Maintenance: Varies (last month it was 750 for timing belt kit/aux kit and 2 new tyres).

Having a loan is perfectly fine, aslong as your in a secure job and can pay your loan back. Its just a way of helping you out. I know for a fact i couldnt afford to pay £5000 for my car, 1200 insurance upfront, but can with ease pay back monthly.

Loan repayment £100
Insurance £45
petrol £45
tax£20

But I have only owned it a week and it's going in for the cam-belt/aux belt doing + a full service and stuff so that'll probably set me back £800 ish (but I knew this when I bought the car)

finance payment - £314
petrol - probally around £150 at the max
tax - £36 this year
Insurance £90 (should be cheeper come renewal in may)

Insurance is roughly £250-300 for the time it's on the road.
Tax - £140ish for 6 months

Thats it. I do about 2k a year in it so thats works out about £500-600 on fuel over that period.

Trophy - insurance @ £375 a year, tax @ 235 a year. The just fuel as & when i take it out for a drive.

Slighthly different to last year, when i was doing 2-3k miles a month in it lol ...

Insurance: £58 a month :p
Petrol: £80-£100
Fixing things that go wrong on a monthly basis: anywhere between £10-£300

I have already modded it as much as I want, and Cambelt is out the road for another 5 yrs
Pretty much fuel is my only monthly outgoing which is good

I have spent a fortune on Recaros, Milltek exhaust, wipers, proline springs, mats, V6 Airbox, battery cover, Spare wheel +tyre, cup spoiler and Splitter over the years tho :S

loan repayment £220 (only 12months loan)
petrol £150 atleast!
cleaning £30
insurance would of been £1600 for year soo around £140 for a month

£540 ish a month all together! not including toys/ tyres etc

My biggest outlay is fuel.

Yearly:

Insurance - £550
Tax - £235
Fuel - Around 4k (25-30k miles)
Servicing - 2 services at BTM and 6k oil changes myself £450.
MOT - £40

Total - £5825 excluding any repairs.

I can't believe the money people are paying for insurane. Mine is £35 a month.

The chap prepared to pay £500 per month, £6000 a year, for insurance, tell me you're earning a very good salary and a home owner, not living at home with your parents, blowing all your income on a car as if that's the case, you'll look back in a few years with a lot of regret. £500 a month is 2/3 of a mortgage, at least a house being an asset that will appreciate in value unlike a car which will only depreciate.
That 500 quid he pays on insurance would pay a month on my morguage and a months juice in the 172 he is mad!

Insurance - £75 / month
Tax - £19.50 / month
Fuel - £200 / month (steady)
Mot - £50
Services - £40 / 6k miles all done myself

All this fun for around £300 per month, priceless ;)

Fuel increasing 5p per liter again!!! Thats the killer cost

Insurance: £64.33 (pay monthly)
Fuel: £80 - 100 (some gets given back to me)

In the 2 months or so I've had it I've only added an induction kit and air freshners.... no a huge costing!
