how much more bhp can i get from 1.2 16v

im currently on about 80bhp with ktr system on way soon and i was just wondering how far someone has taken a 1.2 16v with any major head work or transplants?

Since Im guessing the engine has about the same spec as the Corsa engine then with cams, cleaned manifold induction and exhaust work 100hp has been reached with then.

If you want to be able to sell your car on later as stock then get another manifold cleaned etc and use that and swop back when urs is up for sale

Posting enough threads though arnt you.

You many eb able to get a manifold and head cheap from a scrappie sent it to BenR for the work etc and then get a garage to swop them over for you when its done.

nobody has really bothered with this engine as there is no real point to be blunt.

But 100-110bhp isnt way off, but itll cost you more than you want to spend.
