how much oil consumption is normal?

Ive just topped a litre after 3000 miles inc about 120 hard track miles.

I've had a few RS Clios but not seen this rate of consumption before.

Im using Gulf competition oil if that makes any difference and the car is on 92500 miles

Mine drinks the stuff but the engine still runs perfectly and pulls like a train so it doesn't bother me. About 1 litre every 1500 miles.

​I believe Renault do state 1 litre per 1000 miles but this will be to avoid warranty claims I would have thought.

Mine doesnt use a drop either.
No leaks, no smoke, no sut in the exhaust.
Phase 1 172 80k.

No its not leaking at all. I was under the car fitting dog bone bushes and its fine. No smoke either and its running very well as proven last week on the rr at rs tuning.
