How Much Oil Is Needed.

Ok ive done an oil change on the car including filter and sump washer.
I also flushed the engine an left it to drip all out for a while aswell.

But how much does the engine need to refil? How many liters of oil?

yep, according to handbook 5.1 or 5.2 litres i think.

i used 5 in mine and shows 1 notch of full

5.1l is official iirc, 5l will be fine though. Nice round number for once.

just out of interest, why did you replace the washer?

I've just done a filter and oil change on mine and didn't change the washer, just wondering if i should have?

I've never changed a sump plug washer on mine yet , i always reuse the old one without any problems .

I thought it was 4.75 litres of oil. I normaly put all 5 in.

I replaced mine as the little bit of rubber that goes on the inside of the washer came off an it looked to have a nic in it. And for the sake of a quid its not worth moaning about.

I've never changed one on any of my cars, no leaks either. Although strictly you should

well ive put in over 5 litres of 5w40 oil - you lot got a damm clue how bloody expensive this shite is? jesus man. But i love the car so sod it.

i got some mobil 1 0w-40 for my last change, thought it maybe a bit thin but no leaks.
