How much to cut & weld a couple of exhaust pipes?

hi, i'm considering getting a 182 manifold for my 172. i know i'll need a cat and a decat modified to fit. i've got a 172 cat and a decat- how much would do you think it would be to get both the cat and decat cut and welded to fit the manifold and exhaust?

id say 50 tops most will be cheaper tho as its only a quick job. few mates have had similar for 20-30 from local garages

that for both pipes? cheaper than i thought. only issue i have is i would prob have to get the manifold fitted by the garage to ensure the pipes are chopped to a good fit

iirc yes, and so do the shittly triangle things at the back

Thought so, Might cost a bit more than £50, due to the effort that's involved.

forgot about the garage having to drop the subframe. that's definitely the garage+manifold idea out the window. only other option i guess then is getting one of ktecs link pipe and using it to get the car to the garage after fitting manifold myself, then flog the link pipe after it's done.

just fitting a 172 decat on std manifold seems even more appealing than it did previously.

Fit the manifold , then fit the exhaust minus cat/decat and measure it?
Or fit manifold then get a mate to tow you to a garage?

it's the angles of the joints i'd be concerned about
i think at the moment i'm erring on the side of 172 decat
