how much would this be worth





iam looking to sell or poss p/x my clio gt turbo,but unsure what it would be worth to the right buyer?ive done a spec list what do people think?it is heavily modded but looks sweet,your comments are appreciated!



M-Reg 1995 Renault Clio GT Turbo



Engine: R5 1400cc Turbo conversion by Torsion Tuning, K-Tech Hybrid Turbo and braided oil feed, Dump valve, Torsion Tuning clutch, up rated head gasket and bolts, bigger carb jets, strapped intercooler, Piper Cross air cone air filter, regularly serviced.



Brakes: Big disc conversion and R5 callipers by Torsion Tuning.



Wheels: 16” League Tantrums



Exhaust: Scorpion with 12” X 4” Oval centre exit.



Exterior: Tinted windows, Full Rover aramath purple re-spray, colour coded rear light clusters, single wiper conversion, Alloy filler cap, M3 mirrors, Maxi spoiler, 16V bonnet with bad-boy effect, All badges, locks, handles, strips, repeaters, aerial removed and smoothed. Wing vent, Maxi side skirts, Custom big mesh in front bumper, Custom deep rear bumper hole for centre exit, Solenoid entry doors with TOAD alarm, Tinted rear plate, H & R lowering Springs, G-MAX Shocks, rear torsion beam lowered.



Interior: Cobra Daytona bucket seats, Seat belt harnesses, all interior re-trimmed to match front seats, silver painted handles, door cards and dash surrounds, White dials, Raid steering wheel, alloy pedals, alloy gear knob, alloy floor mats, alloy tax disc holder.

Boost controller

Spark plug, already in exhaust for flamer kit.

sounds neat, but very specialised, so what its cost will have little relation to what youll get!

if conversion is good you should recoup reasonable amount of that, but body mods and respray etc. unfortunately very little.

same as houses - big quality mods like a new Bathroom = good, Wilton Carpets throughout = no return!

Id say base it on what a standard car in same nick would be worth:

i.e: a grand to 1500 plus maybe third of the mod costs??

so 1500 + third of 5K??

Oh sorry sir!

He asked and i said what i thought.

You never get your money back on mods so id say 3 - 3.5k would be fair.

But then this car aint my cuppa.....

Id have kept it looking like a standard valver but id say 3.5 -4k

Car market is sooo slow at the moment. Ask Dogmaul (and my mates who are trying to sell theirs cars)

Id personally not pay anymore than £1500 for it, not an insult, an opinion just like Tom 16vs opinion. The guys asked, so now hell get his guide price. You can bull$hit it up if you want but when mkI 172s are going for £6k and williams as low as £2.5, would you seriously pay £4K?

Its a just a £1500 rt with a £500 GTT turbo engine in. Its not even got disks on the back.

Where does 4k come from?
 


i see you have all been havin a good disscussion!personally i think values are about right,apart from £1500 but everyone has there own views and thats wat i wanted!as far as williams no dis-respect but theres not much diff from a valver and they all look the same,standard and gold wheeels!the172 yea are newer but also double price iam looking at. but they are some peoples taste wheres i like my car to stand out and turn heads!be unique and have trick custom mods,i just find alot of clios look the same.also why do you need rear discs?if you overbrake small cars you end up with back comin round on you!i can say i have very big brakes on the front that stop me very well and i have no rear discs.as for wat am i after next?well iam open to offers on clio or poss part exchange with a bigger car,really i should have a Ford as i work there cheap parts etc only one i really like is ST24 V6 Mondeo.thanks for your replys we all have our opinions it would be boaring if we all liked same things!
