How often do you turn off your MBP?

I ask because i thought about it earlier and realised its not been off in ages...

Does it damage the machine to keep it on?

I never turn mine off unless an update/install says i must.

Why would it damage it ? My iMac spends 2/3 of it's life asleep.

Reset it the other day before I did a lot of video editing..

Not very often. Only really when it gets an update as well.
