anyone in a 172/182 be shamed i had a standard valver run like s**t cos it had the wrong ecu at the time and raced verious clios and only one beat me b4 the 197 &that was a modded 182 going solo while i was 2 up now iv planted my williams lump in rollered at 176bhp only running a complete stainless straight thro exhaust and induction kit now all except other williams r easy picking i raced a subaru sti prodrive which is a 305 bhp toy n left him with ease again. RX8 dragged and won while spinning thro 1st and 2nd played with a evo 6 on a motor way lets say he tryed loosing me n i was checking his spots out while in straight ban area of the speedo exact position i started in n incase u dont no mitsu's mechanics say the evo 6 is the quick one thats without beating a suzuki bandit on drag 2 70mph b4 he left me lol any 172 182 think they could do that?? not a chance anyway Standard!! real clios all the way (williams /197 /v6)

The word 'ease' is stupid anyway. You need about 100+Bhp extra to pull away with ease!!!
PTW means very little when your rolling...On cam the 172 will win! been there, done that!

Around a track, it will. The 1*2's are compromised for the sake of safety / added comfort. Its like comparing a mk1 Golf GTI to a mark 3. Almost...

Around a track I would'nt think there would be much in it at all. The Willy has a massive following for handling but everyone know the RS's are very well set-up too, aswell as having more grunt....

lol no ones gonna agree and to the person that wrote the evo 6 0-60 in 4.2 that was the Mitsubishi Evo 6 Tommi Makinen edition u cant compare that 2 a box standard evo 6 0-62 in 5.2 like i said befor thats book time
For people to really comment, they really have to have driven and thrashed both!
If i was to sum up my experience into a few catagories:
Performance - 172 everyday but it was more modified...
Handling - Willy was more fun and chuckable, but i did often worry about it stickin to the road!
Looks - Both mine looked good! But the willy is a part of history, it will live on like the V6 as bein something special
Track - Willy is certainly fun, but i think a well set up cup would be just as much fun...
