how tight to do decat to mani springs?

Fit my decat a few weeks ago but cant help thinking i did the springs up too tight. Im going to get a new cat to manifold gasket next week as the one on it was had it so just wondering how tight to do the bolts on the springs when i fit the new ones.

Anybody got any pictures?

I read that doing them too tight will put too much stress on the manifold but not tight enough and itl blow.

the bolts have a shoulder on them, you can't overtighten the springs. once it's bottomed out though, the nuts dont need to be over tightened

ah right, cheers dude. Have to get my kit ordered soon then. Didnt take notice last time as i was too excited to get the decat on lol.

mine was blowing for a while after fitting a new gasket until it beds in
