How to change wiper stalk?

To change the wiper stalk in a 182 do you need to remove the whee? If so, is that all you need to remove?

I just did it on my MK2 PH1 but I'm not sure how different the PH2s are. On mine it was 3 screws underneath the wheel to remove the 2 panels around steering column and then 2 small screws on the stalk unit and it just slides out. You just have to turn the wheel 90' to get access to the small screws.
