How to clean a boot carpet!?

Odd question I know but I had a bottle of oil in the boot of my car (as a just incase top up thing) and well... it was in there for over a year about 4 months back it gave up the ghost and popped -.-' Oil all over my boot and carpet and my haines manual! (not impressed lol) Anyone had to get oil out of a carpet before?

If not anyone got one for sale? I have a MK2 Ph1 (dont think the carpets would vary though?)

Cheers

Nick

All purpose cleaner, or maybe try a degreaser ? Another thing you could try is wd-40, it's brilliant at getting oil and greases out of stuff.

Iirc wd40 thins oils, you would probaly need a wetvac to take out the oils though.

I would wait for advice from other people before trying my method lol.
