How to connect rear speakers.

On a mk1 1.2??
When i brought the car the rear speakers werent connected.
Any of you kind people give me a brief guide how to re conenct them ,as im not a whizz on audio eletronics just yet.

plug them in ? where abouts are they not connected ?

As far as i know just into the actual speaker unit themselves.
I reckon the owner before me wire up 6x9's in replacement for the rear speakers ,so its got the shuvel end speaker wires still in place.

pull the speaker grill off, speaker should be behind it, then just plug it in,

if urs is the shape i am thinking off, the covers just kinda pull off, then u need star shape thing to unscrew the speakers, and wires should be behind it
