How to fit bucket seats

ok my seats came this morning, i cant figure out how to get the old ones out, all i can see is circle black bolts, which means they cant be undone.

I think the subframes are done up with 2 bolts on each seat underneith the car buy the heatshield for the exhaust

The seat rails have studs on them that go through the body of the car. You need to put the car on a ramp or axle stands, get under it and undo the nuts holding them on. They have rubber bungs over the holes in the floorpan covering them. Once you look under the car it will be obvious. Also if you havnt already unplugged the wires under the seat for airbag and pretentioners you'll need to disconnect the battery for 30mins then unplug them.

sparco sprint, i cant do it with out a lift, the cars to low.

i like them alot, but im sure some1 will criticise.

They look mint. Just fitted my drivers today (did the passenger side first). I just jacked mine up using the standard jack and the car half on a kerb. Was not too bad tbh.

Wouldnt worry about people critising, as long as you happy then F**k everyone else. Thats what I think. Few people, not from th board have made comments on mine.

60mm he lowerd it on standard rims

yeh as clio r said, will be goin -80mm coilovers in a few weeks on standard rims

thats the spirit personally i like the seats but ill be going with recliners when i replace mine.

i had to borrow some axle stands as i couldnt get a screwdriver under the front to undo my splitter

are the frames the same on a mk2 as a mk1? just wondering.

Wierd becuase they told me 2001 onwards only for the cobra subframe and 1998 for sparco so figured 98 onwards was same, but different before!!

its only 60mm, wack a jack under it, jack up, remove 4 x 13mm nuts job done

yeh, but if u dont have a jack thats safe to get under....hence why im going to my mates garage.
