How to get to the RAID BIOS?

  GW RS200
Just bought all my new computer kit. ABIT ab9 MB,conroe and twin 150gb SATAS, but I can't work out how to get them in a RAID config. Ive set the normal bios to RAID. I have a RAID floppy disk which I assume has drivers on, seeing as it doesn't autoboot. I can start a Vista installation at which point it can see my two unformatted drives, but thats all, i can even browse the floppy and find ICH8R drivers at this point, but after it's loaded them Im back to having two unconfigured drives show up - I have the option to format and partition them, but no mention of putting them in an array. Where on earth do I pair them? I've seen mention of a RAID BIOS online, but neither CTRL i or CTRL g on POST seems to do anything at all. Please help someone before i go mad!!!

Cheers,

Steve

You should have the option on POST. If not, perhaps you need to enable RAID in your BIOS so that RAID setup is an option during POST.

EDIT: oops - must read

On my MSI motherboard, it goes through the memory check first and then the drives.

Then, before it spins the cd up (when I'm reformatting) and asks to press any key to boot from cd, I get the option to 'Press tab to key into user window'. Pressing this brings up the raid screen. Can't recall if this is done with the raid driver disk in or not.
