How to improve text editing on iOS

Nice little vid of how Apple could improve text editing. Looks really slick. The current method sucks!



There's details in the vid description or the link of how to request the feature. The more people that do it, the better chance we have of better editing implementation!

I'd guess that it would be possible on iPhones too but the multitouch gestures on a 3.5" screen wouldn't be the easiest thing in the world to do. It's an obvious improvement over the current clunky text editing on iOS, even if it's just on iPads.

Already available on Cydia for free. A little awkward on the iPhone (my iPad isn't jailbroken) but still much better. I'm sure after using it for longer it'll become second nature anyway.
