How to install the RENAULT SPORT ECU-Groupe_N

Hi from Czech Republic
I have a big problem. I have ordered renault sport ecu grN( 7711129506) for my series MK2 172. I changed the old one electronic box for this new one grN. The car is not starting now...With the old one, the car is OK. Does anybody know detailed process step by step of configuration of the new ecu grN?

If it is a used ECU you will need to get it reflashed m8. Can't remember the name of the company but it is in Belgium iirc (fastchip?)

yup. a pukka group n ecu is unlocked and pairs itself to your car when you 1st turn the key. Sounds like yours is already paired to another car or not what it should be !.
If you paid proper money for it id be talking the person you go it from.

If you paid proper money for it id be talking the person you go it from

Same what I said, just return it and you'll be fine.

I contacted him, but he told me to return my new electronic box and buy the product of their company. I am afraid it is not the solution for me.:dapprove:

yes they can be unlocked. you either need to send the ecu or a copy of the flash in it to someone (ie a tuner) capable of removing the immo data from it thus making it a 'virgin' one again.
if you dont know what i mean by reading the flash then its not for you as requires technical knowledge, skills and tools - hence why most ppl just send the boxes off to get them done.

Unfortunatley I have no idea who is local to you who is able to do it, only fastchip in netherlands and a few people in the uk.

If you paid 'the going rate' for it then i strongly suggest you contact whoever you bought it from. If you got it 'cheap' then find sum1 local or the cheapest possible route to get it unlocked - however, are you certain it is a groupn map on it else you could be throwing money away getting it unlocked and it still not working !
