HOW TO RESET MY ECU. CLIO 172!!!

Hey guy's i need to reset the ecu on my renault clio 172 as ive got an electrical fault and have been advised to reset it. does anyone know the correct method to do this?? thanks

by diagonistics i belive, i know that on vag car if you disconnect the battery for 20-30 minutes that resets the ecu, im not sure whether this is the same on the clio

u need either an obd computer/ reader and plug it in under the ash tray or try disconnecting the battery for a while.
