How would I identify pre and post cat' 182 lambdas?

I have 2x lambdas taken from a 182. I don't know which is pre and which is post cat' as they both look identical. They are the same length, have the same pin configuration and the same markings on the plugs.

Any ideas?

the sensors themselves are the same iirc. Just one is before the cat (manifold side) and one after (backbox side)

Well they look identical and have exactly the same markings. I can't see why they would be different.

Lambda sensor = Oxygen sensor, no?

Which means they should probably be the same, the ECU will just interpret their signal appropriatley, according to their pre/post cat position.

Thats my best guess, anyway.

^^^

This is what happens when you get sent on an errand and your 3 year old decides to 'play' on your computer.

Apologies.

LOL. I've only just noticed this Steve. I thought you were vying for my attention as I hadn't replied.

I do believe the Lambda is also the O2 sensor. I can't see them being differnet personally.
