I sprayed the bullets and badges orange, really cant seem to spray the 16v black, finding it really difficult, what do you guys do it with?

use a paintbrush

Touch up pen or a thin brush.

tried that seemed quite messy, spose ill try give it another go

As said a small art brush worked best for me with a tiny pot of paint and take your time.
