HP laptops, have crap battery chargers.

My second one has now given up the ghost [it's lasted 6 months] so i cannot use my laptop another one arrives

So i'm now on my very old, and slow G3 imac.

Hasn't anyone else had probs with HP chargers??

im on my 2nd and only had it 6 months... and this one is close to giving up have to move it around for ages for it to actually charge,

they arnt cheap either...

Hear loads of this actually, couple of the girls at work have HP laptops and they've had chargers break, and one of the other companies in the group use HP laptops and get a few of them. Also had a BT engineer in the other day moaning that his laptop charger was ballsed, so had to use his docking station all the time.

Well i bought it from John lewis, and have warranty untill next july, so it's not going to cost me a penny.

Are the chargers around the £40 mark?

Mine broke as well...but then I did trip over it!!

Have to say the motherboard seams to be a weak point on HP laptops. Both mine and my brothers had to be sent back to be repaired. Happened just after a year as well, must be designed to break after warranty!

I had a problem with mine the cable from where you plug it into your laptop broke away damaging the cable..therefore wouldnt charge i just went and brought a universal 1
