HTC Desire HD weather app issues

I take it it's not updated for anyone else for a few weeks? Seems to have been the latest update that caused it

Happened to my desire. Had to go into manage applications in settings and force close, then clear cache and data for htc sense and htc weather. (Note: this will reset your home screens to default) Also check use location settings are checked.

Sometimes it can just be location / signal related though, at home now and again mine doesn't update but after a few hours it's back to normal.

Few threads on google when I searched which may have more info.

Reboots don't solve it either, nor does just pulling the battery

Looks like plenty of people on the internet have issues

It just gives the message "The connection dropped while your weather information was downloading" but my connection hasn't dropped

Or flash CyanogenMod 7 (Gingerbread) and load 'Weather & Toggle widget' which is essentially a better version of the Sense clock/ weather widget.
