Hybrid SSD/HDD

Was thinking about putting one of these in my MBP

Anyone had any experience with the Hybrid drive from Seagate?
Reviews look good.

I have looked at them for my PC recently instead of shelling out for a fully blown SSD.
I have never really rated Seagate though, always had issues with one thing or another!

Personally do not have any experience with them, the idea they are selling is quite clever though.

But..

If you have the money for an SSD, go that route instead.

I personally wouldn't trust anything Seagate with a barge pole, if you have the money for SSD dont skimp out!

Not a massive fan of seagate either tbh, although they have improved. I'd have to research the performance and stuff in more detail before deciding. Would probably rather compromise storage space and get a full SSD, or compromise speed and get a normal HD myself though.

perhaps a bit expenisve, you could always have a look at the Vertex 2E's, they've come down in price a fair bit now!
