I am in so much trouble!...

Car  172 FF Ph2
Well decided to take K-Tec up on their offer of the first whizz in the SC Clio. After my last post, well, went a bit silly I went in to see the progress and decided to take a candid shot. The SC car unreal, I mean unreal! I'm going for it!

Anyway I picked the Cup up at closing, well a bit after in fairness, but grabbed this on the way through, sneak preview me thinks!

They're not yellow, they are sort of orange, but no, not my taste, they do grab attention though! Even if to a secret snapper! ha ha (Waits for Dave to give some!)

It's kind of burnt mango! But the SC in situe and Sikooooo with it running made the visual onslaught worthwhile, Monaco blue, fastest ever! facto! ha ha!

Andy, thanks for the camber set up BTW Canford bottom roundabout a full 5 mph faster! Tried and tested ; )

This could get interesting... Think I would be slightly annoyed at not posting up my own product pictures... or waiting for the right time etc

Naughty Naughty B11LAG!

The engines look fully amazing.

Cant wait to see good pics of the ITB engine. I really want to smarten my bay up.

Sorry Andy, but come on you said have a look! It's only a secret for 24hrs in the flesh! Peach Melba SC FTW!

Apparently, you would not want any of those particular engines, but the idea is there! As I say the SC is mmmental, but Seans Turbo is pretty mental too! hummm, I think there is a decision to be made, perhaps i'll do her indoors dinner and see which wins! :)

Nice to see that you can put a little bit more boost through it on stock internals. If you can get a boost controller (or solenoid for the gen 90) to maintain the boost you'll probably be up near the SC kits in power but obviously more torque.

Did you leave the VVT phased or did you switch it out to reduce the valve overlap? And what AFR's did you lean it out to? PM me if you'd rather not tell the world.

Steve

Well it's a much better improvement on the 206bhp and 180lb/ft torque that my initial kit made. Obviously my boost was dropping off to about 5psi though

love it,

yellow and black... ktr colours :P

going to do my block black with a yellow rocker cover i think, no super chargers for me tho :(

have a good show guys

thanks paul, that is acutally me letting go of the throttle iirc

Ok but i was not refering to the end of the graph, i was looking at a LB 172 graph from the other nonth thats all, same scale and the same shape with the little hump at peak torque except shifted by 600 rpm or so.

What gear did you use?

Taking a shot like that to post on here which is really, a very small nit in group of people compared to other things, is alittle stupid, and tbh rude if they worked on your car.

It's very different from taking a pic of a game/movie production where it can be leaked and no one will really know the source.

I would say taking that pic and posting it on here is rude, you should have asked K-tec first. Only my opinion though.

Bah im sure they arnt bothered, its all advertising at the end of the day, guess people in this thread wouldnt have seen them at all if they arnt going to the show
