Me and my brother built this one today, using the snow-brick method (with help from the recycling tub)
Not quite as chiseled as op effort though

Couldn't have done it without our trusty snow-brick mould!

Tubs sound like too much effort to me - all I did was brush loads of snow in a huge (about the same size as the igloo) heap with a snowshovel. Pack it all together, get a spade and start digging

The walls are about 6inches thick all the way round and it's actually quite warm inside, out of the wind.
