Red Cup

Well its not red and its not a cup... Change of name is in order I think!

Was looking for a Racing Blue full fat with both cup packs and as low mileage as possible for less than £10.5k, with stripes too if possible.

Was all set to buy from a dealer in Crewe, right colour but 15k miles and no stripes when this one came up in Wrexham. Got it for £10,200 cos I work with the owners cousin. Its only done 6k and there isnt a fault on the car. Im chuffed to bits, just what I wanted :D

Took it up around the Cat & Fiddle last night, no-one around so quite a good playground, had all four wheels off the ground at one point(!) *ahem*.

In true Renault Dealer tradition the stripes are different to most others

loving the motor matey... racing blue is the way to go!

good on you

by the way.. whats different about the stripes???

looks like how they are ment to be or am i missing something?

On some cars they dont go behind the number plate, they stop about 1cm above it.

I dont know if they are wrong or this is? Not that it bothers me at all!

I was outside washing it at 11pm last night, didnt want the bugs to dry on

they changed the stripes last september mine stop at the plate and above the badge

older cars stripes go to the bottom of the boot

Although no official ones go on the underside of the spoiler as far as I aware, so those are probably aftermarket ones (not that it matters, just that there are some truely bad aftermarket jobbies on Racing Blue 182s where the lines arent even straight or evenly spaced!)

Ive got a few mods planned:

- Cup badges on the B pillars.
- New reg plate
- Head unit with iPod interface

The most expensive one though:

- Recaro Trendlines retrimmed in Renaultsport trim with embroidered logos. This is assuming the material can be matched well enough. I hope it can cos I reckon it would look splendid :D

Yay another racing blue!! You got a great price there - is it a 54 plate? I paid £10495 for a 54 with 4k miles..(but didnt want the stripes).
