I gotta choose 1 of 3!

Surely buying a JCW is more costly than say, continuing to run just the R32 as you'd lose a lot more in depreciation?

Or am i missing something?

Either way, sounds like u fancy a change so get the Mini then!

I think I would sell the R32 and have a think for a bit.

You seem pretty indecisive about what you want so would suggest you have a think over a period about what car ticks your boxes and how much you have to spend and run.

lol whats interesting is reading voer all these posts, i would say that 33% are 182, 33% are R32 and 33% are JCW!! LMAO nown can you see my problem. I am siding towards the JCW around 2004 model 40-60k miles, good service history, have some change then, only a little but some!! What u think?

I do think the mini is overpriced therefore would never buy new, and supercharger over turbo all the way!

???

In theory at standard weight you would need 280ish bhp at the weight of the RS to dive it 220bhp/ton..? I dont think a remap would take it into that region?

A map and a couple of other bolt on mods and you can hit that sort or power easily mate.

There's lots of people running around 350bhp on the frs.

Mini seems like a daft idea as I thought the main reason for getting rid of the r32 was because it's poor on fuel yet the mini is far worse...!

Nice cars the minis, over rated on here though tbh.

Like most performance turbo charged hatches then? :S

Id be wary of touching a Focus RS in terms of modifying as they dont manufacture that Duratec Turbo unit anymore, all imo ofcourse

Figures from Autotrader if that helps:

VOLKSWAGEN GOLF HATCHBACK 3.2 V6 R32 4MOTION 5dr

RENAULT CLIO HATCHBACK 2.0 16V Renaultsport 182 3dr

More reasons to leave it untouched and standard then...!

Its the mint standard low milers people look for, not the impressive 400bhp enjoyed example thats spent half the miles on track sideways

I always find manufacturers claims of MPG aload of horse s**t tbh, so many factors involved with it its almost never right
