I hate my car...

  Mk4 .:R32
It's getting to point break with my car now first I needed to replace of the brake discs and pads, then it made a really squeaking noise for about a week, I think the alignment it out cos my steering wheel shakes like mad, now the exhaust is hanging off and when I accelerate it sounds like an old motorbike (really loud and gay). All of this in about 6 weeks.

Rant over, I'm just gutted tbh.

not really anything major wrong with it, if you were having problems with electrics or things which you cant quite put your finger on fair enough...

all wear and tear items to be honest!

I don't hate my car, I hate when things happen at the same time e.g. tax, new tyres, mot, 36k service and then a fooking puncture in a brand new tyre and having to replace it AGAIN - doh

problem is mate.. there all kinda things which may need chaing on a car that is 3-5yrs old. Thing is once youve got it right, should be pretty solid.

Exactly, parts do wear/need replacing.

Luckily the parts on your cheap french tinpot are cheap and easy to obtain in comparison to other marques!

  BMW M135i
Nothing terminal or unexpected there tbh, I wouldn't be gutted i'd be getting my tools out! All part of the fun, tbh I think i'd get really bored if I had a car that never needed stuff doing to it.

Yeah I expected things to go wrong, it's just one thing after another, that's why I'm p1ssed off. Plus I keep getting funny looks when I accelerate lol

No disrespect intended but all cars need maintanance. On a positive side, at least its not going to be as expensive as a lot of other makes when they go wrong.

mines 3 years old, its starting to cost a little bit due to mileage. But i justify keeping it in that its had no major problems, its been mine since new. And if I swap for an older car it will more regularly cost me to keep it running well as things like bushes etc will need replacing.

go for a b road blast and it'll remind you why you bought it. (once you sort the exhaust then... lol)

Yeah, been trying to get hold of fred @ yozza sport but it seems his a bit busy. So looks like I'm gonna have to get renault or a garage near me to sort it :( don't really want to do that though cos I wanted a new exhaust system, but from some like yozza or GDI, not a crap garage or rip off renault!

Why!? Stop being gay, cars need parts replacing, parts dont last forever. Its just general wear and tear. Any independant gararge could sort you out.

dont buy from renault....

you will have to get am aftermarket one (the reno one will be 300+ for just part of the exhaust). thought of Demon tweeks if your desperate?? they are open sundays.

Definitely the last french car I buy

Obviously things like exhausts and brakes dont need replacing on other manufactures cars?..... and here's me wasting money on my clio.......:S

Course they do, but all this stuff has happened in such a short space of time. And the exhaust on the 2 clios I've owned have been sh!te.

I don't actually hate my car, I'm just p1ssed off. I will be happy as larry when I sort the exhaust and dodgy wheels out :)

All cars have to have things replaced at some point. I've had to have quite abit done since November, 4 Wheel bearinngs. 4 Coils and a Dogbone mount, costing me around £850, and my baby is only just 4 years old.. I don't get tetchy with my car about it, I blame Renault for fitting such poor quality crap on it in the first place! ;) lol
