i hate my renault!!

i seem to have it all workin then somethin else starts pissin round...

grrr!!

had a decat from hill power, had the car 2 weeks after and it was sweet, but now iv spent all my money on alcohol i think iv got a serious problem

when i change gear, and lift up the clutch too quickly i get a thudding noise..

two pieces of metal knockin back together.... i jus wanna cry....

new gearbox or i was hopin it would b a screw loose on my seat, not sure where the noise is from...

any ideas?

try to drive over a rill in the road like a trainrails, and see if you here a cloink noise. Also try to put the car in 1st and shift to 2nd. and let the clutch drop a little if you here the clonic again, than you have the same sound as I have.

@biggy already changed the engine mount which is in the back, cause it´s the only one to prefent the engine from ´moving to much´ to the back/front. but no go.

yeah mate i drove over train rails today and there was a clonk noise!

im cackin it now, i so hope its not a new gearbox.... wen i go between any gears i am gettin a clunk noise more and more often when i bring the clutch back up...

I had this - it was the gearbox mount thats under the battery. Just needed tightening.

by the by I dont think its the box/clutch itself I think its some mount which I did not replace or tightened enough !

I think the problem you are talking about is the Dog Bone mount, I bet you it doesent make the clonking noise when you got your foot down on the clutch.....I have the same problem nothing major I dont think....

Try letting the car move on just clutch control in 1st, does the car judder making that horrible knocking noise?

Ok i just realised your car is different to mine, oh well could possibly be your gearbox is buggered but hey I aint got a clue
