I Just found this...

  RenaultSport clio 182
....place. I am the proud owner of a clio 182, now 18 months old. It is rather underpowered, but quite fun. Nothing has fallen off yet, which is quite a surprise:)
Runs on cooking petrol, I'm too mean to pay a quid a litre for BP sooper unleaded which appears to make no difference.
Living in darkest West Cumbria means that there aren't many speed cameras (you can tell where they are, a crowd of locals gather to look at the magic lights), and loads of roads where you can drive like a loon at perfectly legal speeds - Wrynose, Corney and Cold Fell are all to be recommended.
The Clio replaced a Subaru, and though slower and sloppier, is more rewarding to drive, and only eats tyres two at a time.
The only negative is the horrible clunks that come from the transmission on full lock "Oh, they all do that, perfectly normal", says my local dealer, who is so awful (I suppose I'm not allowed to say they are shite), they can't even lie convincingly.
I look forward to the 200hp version, but I think I'll be disappointed as its way lardier....

Cracking car it is**, nice and easy to hit the rev limiter:) I'm relieved I can say shi*e - the system automatically inserts an *. Just to protect me from myself, and save western civilisation.
Actually, the car is too good. The mad woman whith whom I cohabit has decided that she has more right to drive it than me, so she gets up early and sneaks off to work in the clio, and leaves me with the vauxhaul. Never happened with the subaru. Perhaps I should buy a bmw...

**High praise, this is, for a car made by fromage mangeant se rendre singes

I think there must be a problem, there aren't any rattly plastic bits, they all fit properly. Should I complain and demand the rattles be restored - the dealers would probably just look blank (as normal, hehe)...
