As my GF past her test last week, and she is on my insurance ( got a refund of £130 when she passsed) i let her drive my car tonight.

Luckily she didnt have enough bottle to hammer it, but i think its mad how a 17 year old lass can be insured on a 182.

Anyway pulled up at some shops, n she got out the car, there was a massive group of lads staring lol, guess they thought ' she shouldnt be driving that'

You off your trolley mate? Whenever I am in my GF's car, she loses all self control and drives on instruction. She is so used to me telling her what to do having taught her before she past her test that she just stops using her brain. She just pulls onto roundabouts etc. because I haven't said it is not safe to go.
No way is she driving the bullet.
Good on you for trusting her though. Just make sure you always know where the keys are.

Was thinking along the same lines. Plus I'm sure they didn't know it was a 182, I don't even know the differences between the mk2's - I just see a jelly mould back and look away.

I remember the first real time she drove the clio, i waved it bye bye into the distance..expecting it to never come back.

soon as my other half pass her test she went from learning in a ka too driving my 2.2 Z3 and we brought the clio together and she can handle a car pretty well she did me proper on a gokart track and she beat most of the lads we went karting with which pissed them off a bit !

i have to say a rag the s**t out of mine, she's always telling me i drive too fast, one day i let her drive (insured of course) i fall asleep finding the passenger seat much more comfortable than the drivers for once, wake up to find we're doing 115mph and we're racing every ugly chav on the m3.......
