i need a new radiator fan!!

anyone ever changed one yourselfs before? also how much are they? its not the motor, just the fan.

77 01 045 216 FAN £16.09 ex vat (part 2 on the drawing) shouldnt take you long 1.5 hrs according to the guide but if you could get away with not taking the bonnet of I recon you could do it in 1/2 hr

the bonnet off??? its a mk3 i looked and there are just four nuts holding the fan against the radiator. how it the fan connected to the motor?

the fan is a press fit on the motor and held in place by a star clip.

so i shouldnt have to take the whole unit off? have u had one break too?

you need to take the complete fan assembly inc bracket off the radiator so you can swap the fan.

ok ta, shouldnt take long. cos its broke everytime it comes on it makes a hell of a noise!!

did this on my renault 5 before in minutes - cant be that different to the clio. lol

Sorry Im tired I meant bumper. The picture of the Mk2 1 Clio is the normal picture in the Renault dialogies its for a Mk2 2 though.

I wasnt sure if you needed to take the bumper off but I did see something in the dialoges about it but it may only apply for bigger engined Clios as there is less space in there with them.

you may need the front grill and slam panel removing to get the radiator out.
