I think i needed new brakes

Well just been to my brothers to get him to fit my new pads that i bought from ripoff renault earlier.

We were both shocked that i hadnt had a crash yet, and that i was still able to stop!

Thats probably the thickest one of the four pads removed.

One pad fell apart when we took it out

And another was so low down, it was more or less down to the metal!!!!

The disks are pretty much screwed too, so im gonna have to get new ones of those too.

Its like a different car with the new pads now though, so i'll take it easy on them for the first 100miles, just to bed them in properly.

You need to drive it hard to bed them in.
Hard braking from 60 to about 5mph a few times then let the m cool off and don't use them
Don't stop and leave your foot on the brakes make sure the car stays rolling.

Whats up with the pads though? Tones of meat left on there You should see mine.

That's ^^^ for the pads.

Disks take about 250 miles of gentle braking. :)

You will have to change your pads again when you change your disks. You are aware of this?
