I-Trip FM Transmitter (illegal)

Car  tiTTy & SV650
Anyone else got one? If so, what frequency do you use it on? Anyone got a frequency which NEVER suffers any interference?

Too lazy to try them myself. Any help appreciated.

Cheers, Rory

Its illegal to use in the UK, but on the 182, the best way to avoid interfernce, keep it in your bag on the back seat.

yep got one off e bay, they use the whole fm frequency

just pick a frequency that no radio station is on and you will be fine

Mate uses one all the time in his 306 - is never great, normally used in the 80 range.

I found a hack site where it explains how you can modify it so it's uber powerful... I'll see if I can find it again.

i have one, but i'm asking what frequency people use....

surely that depends one where you live rory.

different areas are going to have stations using the frequencys

I know, but I want one which works all over the UK if poss, pisses me off when it gets interference when I'm on a road trip.

Rory - pick any unused frequency, but shove it on your backseat as you get less interferance!!!

R182, its a small FM transmitter that plugs into the bottom of an iPod, you set it on shuffle and set the frequecny and then tune your radio in your car to it.

Pick a common radio station and pump it out on that. Ensure you can have it powered via a switch on the car so if your stopped and the thing is hidden away with a phono socket free to plug into the music player...and issues and switch it off. They wont know where it is, and wont be powered when your stopped..

Job done.

ive just done the airial thing to mine, works a bit better, not had it in the car yet though....i found it really annoying in the car to be honest....
