I want a 172!!!!

After being taken out in my mates nice new car last night (my first time in a 172!) i want one. I mean i have wanted one for ages, but now i know what sort of power they are putting out i want one even more now.

So i am in the process of getting one now.

What i want to know though is what would a fully loaded 03 plate 172 have? cause some have sat nav others dont etc etc.

What should i look out for?

Just need to decide upon the colour too and hope one comes along with all the toys! Would love a cup but with leather though! Did they ever do that?

cups dont have leather m8, and look out for a 172 that has FRSH

Im not a fan of the Mk1 172s although they are nice cars, it just the lights im not so keen on, plus i am after something a bit newer than that, preferably with warranty left on it.

And I would love a 182, but i dont know if my budget can stretch to one! Plus being 21 insurance is going to be over £1500 as it is!

Would love a 182 to rub my mates nose in it though! Cant be letting him have a nicer car than me! Its just not allowed!

Just been on the renault website and if you go to the configurator they have a 182 cup and its cheaper than the normal 182. So does this mean they have actually made a cup and not just added the cup spoiler etc?

Just got my renault mag. Theyve bought out a cup version 182. available in blue and inferno (orange).

basically same as what they done with the 172 cup.

If your looking for a 172 in the norwich area DONT buy Y401PBJ it was my old Mk1 172 and I stacked it big style. last time I heard it was up for sale in Norwich.

Thanks for the warning mate. But as i said, not after a Mk1.

Think i might have to take a trip to my dealer and see what he can offer me! Whats a good price to pay for an 03/53 reg 172 with anything upto 10,000 miles on the clock?

My mate just got a 02 with 10,000 on the clock and paid £10000 for it. There is one at a garage near me, 03 plate, 1250 miles on the clock for £11,995

Yeah i have been looking on there today. theres a 182 for £11700, which is a bargain!

Just have to see how quick i can get the money together.
